How You Could Have Entered

Twitter — Post your elevator pitch (140 characters or less) and include the tag #ewaydirect somewhere
in your message or send us a direct message with your pitch.

Blog — If you blog about the contest, link here and email us (jason@ewaydirect.com), you'll be entered to win one of the Flip video cameras.

Only Twitter entries will be counted for the grand prize (MacBook Pro) for the best elevator pitch. You can enter the contest as many times as you want, but if you use software that does automatic submissions you will be disqualified.

Winners of the Flip UltraHD video cameras will be announced on our Twitter account, or you can check our website at the end of the contest.

Rules

This competition is offered by eWayDirect, Inc. ("eWayDirect") and is open to anyone with a Twitter account or a blog who is at least 16 years of age and is a resident of the United States. Employees and agents of eWayDirect and family members of such employees are not eligible to enter.

The competition will begin at 9:00am EST on Monday, August 17 and no new submissions will be accepted after 5:00pm EST on Friday, August 21. eWayDirect will choose ten of the best submissions and put them up on the contest page for voting starting on Monday, August 24 at 9:00am EST. Voting will be closed on 12:00pm EST on Wednesday, August 26, and a winner will be announced at 1:00pm on that same day.

The winner is the person whose submission receives the most votes (after eWayDirect chooses 10 and puts them up for voting when the contest ends). If there is a tie, the winner will be chosen randomly.

The prize for whoever has the submission with the most votes at the end of the voting period is a 13-inch MacBook Pro.

There will be 5 other prizes available throughout the 5-day contest (1 awarded per day). These prizes are the 8gb Flip UltraHD video cameras. Winners for these prizes are chosen randomly for each day and will be announced from the eWayDirect Twitter account shortly after being chosen.

For each of the winners, we purchase the prize on your behalf and have it shipped directly to your door anywhere in the world. (You must prove ownership of the winning entry and your shipping address). We will dispatch the prize within 31 days of the competition closing date.

You can enter the contest multiple times up to two ways. 1) send out a tweet from your own Twitter account with your submission and include #ewaydirect in your message. You don't have to be a customer of eWayDirect to enter, so no purchase is required. 2) Post an article on your blog or website about the contest and link to our official contest page. Feel free to enter each of these ways, or just one of them. Only Twitter entries will be counted towards the MacBook Pro grand prize.

You can tweet as many times as you like (though entries using automated tweets will be disqualified), and tweets during different 24 hour periods will be entered into the competition for that period only. So tweet again when one period closes and another begins.

eWayDirect shall not have any liability for (i) any technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (ii) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition; (iii) any malfunction of or damage to the prizes; or (iv) any restrictions or delays imposed by any customs authorities or any import or other taxes of any kind imposed by any taxation authority in respect of the prizes.
